Hi everyone,
I could use help identifying this anvil. I think it may be a Peter Wright and weighs about 412 pounds. The rebound is extremely good. Anyone have any idea of who the maker could be?

Thank you! The thing is a beast and it is in very nice shape minus the minor chipping. I wire brushed the loose paint off and oiled her up and she looks and sounds amazing. I was studying some photos and it looks like an early Peter Wright to me, but someone with more experience would probably know for sure. The hundredweight font looks to be an exact match on the ones I have seen.

Unless it has been ground off a peterwright should have peter wright stamped on the side as well as the poundage You may have to clean it up a bit to find it they can be pretty faint with age
