Help with Lighting Layout

Hello,
This is my first post on this forum. I in the process of building a new shop and need advice on number of fixtures. I'm 55 years old and the older I get the more light I need...

Shop Sqf: 1650, Ceiling height 13 feet (see attached)

So I'm thinkings of 18 48in 4 Lamp 32 Watt Fixtures:

The average lumens per tube for F32T8 fluorescent is between 2300 and 2800.
2300 times 4 (tubes) times 18 (fixtures)= 165,600 lumens.
2800 times 4 (tubes) times 18 (fixtures)= 201,600 lumens.
That works out to a range of 100 to 122 lumens per square foot, which should be plenty for just about any kind of work, assuming the fixtures are well distributed and cover the areas where you need them.
The fixtures you have selected appear to severely limit the light on the sides, and definitely do not provide any off-ceiling reflection, so lighting pattern will be downward only, but with 13 foot ceilings, the spread should cover the space pretty evenly.
They look nice, but wouldn't be my first choice. I prefer open tubes that illuminate sideways and bounce light off the ceiling, to take advantage of all the output of the tubes.

Then again, we don't know if you have a finished ceiling or not.

Fixture site requires name and email to get IES file (not happening), so if you want actual results you'll have to provide the IES file. I agree with Steevo, that fixture wouldn't be my first choice either. The efficiency loss is likely significant. If you really want that style and lots of light, you could go with F54T5HO lamps since the louvers will prevent the undesirable glare caused by F54T5HO fixtures at that ceiling height.

Thanks for the replies. The shop size is 50x32 feet. The inside will be finished sheet rock and painted an off white.

Looks are important to me but I need enough light, if anyone has suggestion on other fixtures that would help
