So my wife said she was going to buy one if I didn't build one, so I built this activity board for my son. He might be getting a bit old for it now as he is 20 months old, but anyway. It is done, except now I think the switches need to be wired to some small LEDs. He loves to turn lights and and off. What kid doesn't right?
How would you electrical geniuses do this? Would you wire in something to turn it off automatically after X minutes of non activity? Where is a good place to source the lights?
It has a bunch of switches:
- obvious standard switch bottom left
- Decora switch bottom middle
- Toggle switch just above the shower hear
- a double toggle just beneath the deadbolt
- timer middle right
- and two red switches right of the deadbolt. I believe they are momentary, but never checked their operation. I believe tHey are from a 50s era alarm system.
