Does anyone have a solution for a missing lock for this Matco box?
The lock tube and keys, the U shaped bracket and rod that connects to the swinging back plate are missing. Matco does not have parts for this box any longer. Has anyone worked one one of these or a similar MB series box from this era?
Attached is the PDF of the box's breakdown and parts. The LOCK017 part is not available and the C revisions does now work.
Someone has had a similar problem, this lock version does not fit.

Matco Box Tubular Lockset and Adaptor
I paid roughly $60 for this LOCK-017C tubular lockset and MLRA-005 adaptor. They did not work with my '89 MB1440 rollaway, so I'm offering them up here. The threads for the adaptor nut have partially stripped on one side, but the nyloc nut still tightens down ok. The adaptor will mate this...
