Does anyone have an idea of the brand name of this old Toolbox?

Initially I thought it was an old Craftsman Box, (24 ½ x 12x 14 ½) but the emblem on the door looks original and it’s method of being affixed does not look like some user made add-on. The outside has been repainted but the drawers are the original Red and the inside is the original Blue/Gray

The tray obviously is not original as the top floor has been modified to accept the tray. There are no markings inside or out nor on the drawer bottoms or backs. If the emblem is not original to the box, I wonder if anyone has seen a similar emblem anywhere else?

The document was under the bottom drawer.

Well, the badge is from the fender of a 1952 Mercury.

Found some for sale..around $40-$100 bucks!

The diagram is for a tool developed in 1955 but used in different configurations up till today.

That hammered blue paint looks similar to my late 50s Craftsman, but when sanding showed a slightly greener shade...faded maybe?

Other than that, no help.
