Help with new compressor installation

Hello everybody and thank you for reading this. I'm new to the forum and I registered because I love working in my garage. I bought a brand new compressor this past weekend and I just finished wiring it. I now need to connect it to the distribution line - 3/4" black pipe - I have in my garage. I read some tips online and everybody suggested buying a hydraulic hose with 3/4" fittings. I did and it was literally delivered 10 minutes ago. It is a 36" 3/4" hose rated 2250 psi. I looked at it and I realized that the two 1-1/16" nuts at each end do not move. They are solid with the hose. Any idea about how to install it? I guess I need to find female connectors with gasket and thread? Any suggestion? I'm lost...

I used the same hose. I screwed one end into the pipe and then used a 3/4 NTP pipe union to connect the other end.

I like that Quincy. I'd put a ****** out the sude of the compressor w/ a ball valve, then thread one end of the hose into that. Then put a union on the other end and connect to your black pipe.
A union can be thought of as a coupling that comes apart. Google it and you'll see...

I used a 1" hose so the ID would be 3/4" at the fittings...

Easy - 3/4" npt union. How do you think they install black pipe?

BTW hydraulic hoses have really small ID's. It can act like a flow regulator. For future reference your better bet was probably to buy this.
