I inherited a lot of my Grand Pa's tool before he passed away.
I need to get some parts for some of them,
1. Thor 1/2 impact (Speed wrench) needs brushes & brush covers.
2. Porta-band saw Model #524 it needs the gears to drive the saw blade.
My son & myself used these to rebuild his old VW and I would love to use them again on other projects. I also included photos of some of my other old tools. I hope you enjoy!

Love the old stuff.

1. Thor 1/2 impact (Speed wrench) needs brushes & brush covers.
Brushes and brush covers tend to be somewhat universal. If there's a tool repair or electric motor repair, they should be able to find a crossover.

2. Porta-band saw Model #524 it needs the gears to drive the saw blade.
That's going to be a bit more difficult. Put out a WTB here and over on the OWWM site.

you can also check with an older vacuum/sewing machine repair shop. they often have the brushes and covers.

Portaband: contact the company, you may get lucky...

OWWM = Old Woodworking Machines website, although they changed their name to Vintage Machinery: http://vintagemachinery.org/

Actually, vintagemachinery.org doesn't do old portable power tools like the OP has; it only does old machine tools. If you post portable power tools there, they get removed in short order.

The owwm Jack probably meant was owwm.org which does both old machine tools and old portable power tools.
