Help with opener noise

I have always kept the door and opener lubed up to keep them quiet and working smooth. I was using a Liquid Wrench Dry Spray and had no problems. Well, I ran out of that and found something at Home Depot called Blaster Garage Door Lube. It works great for about two days. :headscrat My opener has the long screw that runs the length of the track. After a couple of days, it is louder than ever before. I spray it again and have no problems for two days. It drips all over the floor so I know it's getting lubed. I can unhook the opener and the door is quiet. So, it has to be the screw that operates the opener. Any other ideas or products that will last more than a few days??? TIA

are you sure the noise is coming from the jackscrew? sounds like the motor w/o a load is ok but once you put a load on it it "strains" maybe check the bearings/bushing in the motor itself
