Help with pole building style garage!

Ok, so I have been trying to decide between normal stud framing on top of concrete, or a pole style in which I could have the concrete poured later. So cost is my main issue. I was going to have a slab poured and build on top of that but wasn't going to dig footers, so everyone said that's a horrible idea so scratch that. So now I can either do a proper footing/slab then wait an entire year to build the structure, or dig out about 6 in of dirt and dump some gravel in and build the pole structure, then wait the full year to have the slab poured inside. I have several questions but will wait for some opinions first. Building is 24x30x9.
