Buddy told me I could have it if I could fix it, opened it up, piston looks new, but gun won't fire.

Traced it down to the trigger is not hitting the plunger. When I remove the trigger assembly and manual push the plunger she fires just fine.

Done the Google search for it but searching for trigger repair is always about the trigger piston assembly, not the trigger itself. I can't even find a picture of a FR350A trigger assembly that looks like mine and online parts diagrams are not detailed enough.

Anyone familiar with this gun?

Here's the parts I removed....

Here' the trigger piston, manually pushing it fires the gun...

The issue seems to be the metal piece rides over the plastic cross piece, here it is in front...

and then passed through...

I've tried it with the trigger selector in both positions, can't get it to work. Could the metal piece be bent? Looks wonky but not sure.

Appreciate any help.

thanks,

Rob

I think your issue is the trigger safety, it's a foot on the nose of the gun where the nails fire . it has to be depressed to allow the trigger to engage.
snap a pic of the front nose of the gun

That was it! A bit of dirt in there preventing it from seating, cleaned out and now it's firing, thank you.
