Like anywhere else, try checking with the contractors who install such buildings and see if they have complaints with any of the suppliers mentioned. Keep in mind that those who install these structure can have various outcomes that will negatively affect the manufactures's reputation through no fault of their own. Also, try asking the manufacturers for examples of their products being used in your area, and check out those results.

Google Eagle complaints. Check out the local dealer. The way this works is when you order you will give the dealer a ten percent down payment. That is their commission. As soon as the order is sent in the dealer is done. If something is not right or there are delays you can talk to the dealer until you are blue in the face but they can't help you. Here's the rub. If you want to cancel you have to get the money from the dealer who probably already spent it. The actual building isn't built until about three days before delivery so the company isn't to worried about you canceling. All the components are standard and will be put in the next order.

All that being said, there are good dealers and suppliers out there. Talk to some friends and get some recommendations. I mentioned Porta/Grace before. They work a bit differently. The dealer provides the installer. The biggest complaints you will find are with installing. When the dealer controls the installation things go a lot smoother.

Call the guys at the commercial zoning dept in your area. They inspect all the steel buildings that meet your area code and have close relations to the guys who put them up. They'll tell you who to call.

Good idea but doesn't apply here. The factory hires traveling installers. There could be three buildings on your block and three different installers. They might be at your house today and one state over tomorrow.
