help with Snap ON mt-605 distrib-u-scope

i just bought a snap on distributor tester , built around 1958, it's all vacuum tubes and relays...and i do not have a owners/parts/service manuals

can anyone help? one tube is missing and i have no idea what to put in it..eevrything works except the tachometer , i assume the missing tube is the problem

any help appreciated...snap on was no help

That's going to be a tough one. I think your best bet is to try to find someone who has a working model and get the tube number off of it. You might try automobilia clubs and collector clubs. Also try ebay. sometimes you find good manuals and things there.

good idea....after googling i found someone who has a working one. he was able to tell me what the number on the missing tube is , so i should be ok on that

but he doesn't have any manuals either...does anyone have one they could copy for me?
