help with Snap on sliding top tool cart

I bought a used Snap On cart with the sliding top. When we moved it I had to lay it on its back in the truck. Now it won't unlock. I had advice to pick it up a few inches and drop it to shake it loose but the key will still not unlock it. Does anyone have a solution other than: "call Snap On" or "drill out the lock"

Maybe set it on its front and then see if it will unlock, something inside has moved to make it lock.

Turning the unit upside down will at least unlock the drawers...that is a separate mechanism.

As for the lock for the lid, try to push the lid from side to side while turning the key.
