Help with this blow lamp.

Hai all,this is my first post on this fourm...
I have bought this Blandon blow torch today at a Classic car show for €20 ($27).It is made in Birmgham,England.Does anyone else have one or know how to get parts for it because there is no pressure on the plunger,it appears to be complete and has a nice patana while still looking like brass.
On the side of the tank it says : (in caps)

Use Paraffin only
It is dangerous
To use any other Sprit
All Blandon blow lamps
Are Guaranteed
Fill Three parts full
With Clean
Paraffin.

You might try soaking the plunger in ATF for a day or two, it's leather and it's probably dried out. I have a Primus # 630, made in Sweden, that is a dead ringer for that torch.

Thanks,i'll try soaking it in engine oil for a day or so,we dont have ATF ? in Ireland...

ATF is automatic transmission fluid, but any light oil should work. Good luck.
