This was left in a building I purchased. I cannot get it to raise but have no clue if I am attempting to operate it correctly. There is a lever at the top and one at the bottom. The closest thing I can find online is a 2 ton Milwaukee post jack. I can't read the label plates on the jack, so that's no help. The entire top comes off. If I can get it to work, I'd probably keep it, I hate to put it in the scrap pile.

Used to use one of those in a shop, but with lift arms, not a flat deck. Use the white lever in the middle of the tube to close the cylinder and use the obvious pump arm to lift.

Should be hydraulics 101; your bleed abilities are greater than mine. Hope it just needs topped off, but maybe seals and surfaces are pretty bad in there; I wouldn't doubt it based on the exterior. G/Luck!

Great Jack. Had a few different ones in the shops over the years with and without bumper jack arms and trans jack toppers. Very Handy design, I really like them. Like ChevyEFI said, the little white lever is the control lever. Move it clockwise until it seats and pump with the long lever. Never took one apart but they should be quite simple. Certainly durable, the ones I used looked like they were used hard and put away wet, but they all worked flawlessly.

I would bet that seals are still available out there.
