Help with this

Got rid of a deep freezer this morning so I've opened up some floor space and wall space. [emoji1] I have a portable AC unit that I keep in the garage that kind of sticks out due to lack of floor space before, no that I have the extra room I'm trying to figure out away to move it and still use it. It have an intake and return hoses that aren't really flexible like I'd like them to be so that I could route them along the wall closer so I can put the unit closer to the wall. Any ideas on how to achieve this? I was think dryer vent hose but didn't know if there was something better.

How about putting up a shelf for it to sit on? One that puts the holes in the back right at window level. Then shorten your hoses or eliminate them appropriately. That way you get it tight to the wall and minimize your hose length.

I'd be tempted to make that a high shelf above the window if you have the room so you don't give up the floor space you just gained by moving the freezer.

I'm pretty certain you can use the dryer ducts if your existing ones aren't bendy enough.
