This is my first post, so i wanted to say thanks for all of the help this site has givin me.Now on to the question, I was organizing a tool box that i just bought and ran across these things and was wondering what they were used for.
They are used to swag copper lines. They are tapped into the opening to increase it's diameter so it will fit over a mating line to form a solder joint.
