Help with two-post car lift

Hi all,

New to the discussion area here so if I posted this in the wrong area please let me know.

I'm trying to find a two-post car lift that does not need to be mounted. The driveway is blacktop and
does not have the thickness needed to mount (in fact I wouldn't mount anything in this driveway)

Does such a thing exist? Recommendations?

I have looked at MaxJax and QuickJack. MaxJax requires mounting holes and QuickJack obstructs the sides....which I suppose I could live with.

What kind of work are you going to be doing? QuickJack looked awesome to me at first but my cars weren't a good fit for the models that were available a few years ago.

I have some exhaust work. It would just be nice not to have face mashed in the floorboards lol

Plus some wheel work, axles bearings, brakes, etc

not sure if any would be a good 2 post install on asphalt

Cut the asphalt and put in a concrete footer.

How about a scissor lift. Some have the ends of the post just roll on the floor so would need concrete. Others have a steel piece for each roller built into the main frame so they could work on macadam.
