Was my grandfather's, guessing 40's or 50's.
Only information is a Skilsaw Model A. It takes a 4 1/2" wide belt.
I called Skil, and they are of no help. Neither is Google.

Shot in the dark, but wanted to see if anyone had any info possibly a manual or parts info.

Thanks in advance...

I don't have the info. you seek, but am curious as to what "skil" told you? Did you call the main office, or a local service center? I ask this, because I called them (main office), last year on my old "77" worm saw, and they nailed the date of manufature, down to the month. They also faxed me a break down of all the parts for it. If you did call the main office, maybe you got a turd having a bad day, so try again.

I spoke with customer service at the main office. They were able to provide me with a manual and info for the other vintage sander which was a Model 448...They did spend about 10 minutes trying to find any info. She said they had all of the "old model" info in a folder..
