My aunt was pulling some items out of my grandfathers old shop and asked me if I know what this was. She was going to toss it into the trash but my curiosity got the best of me. The only markings are what are pictured on the decal and a little googling of the PN brings up some PDF's but the items pictured don't match this. It just has the three wires pictured.
Thoughts??

Please open the lid and take hires photos, so we can stop guessing and even maybe tell what it contains and the intended function.

Appears to have something to do with RV power. The spec sheet (link) seems inconsistent with the label. Could contact the company and ask - https://www.progressivedyn.com/contact-us/

looks like from this spec sheet, it is for dc to dc voltage stabilizer.... in this case takes 6 to 15v input and stabilize the output to be 12Vs at least that is on the description.... probably still consider a filter in the old days.

Yep, I came across the PDF's online but they didn't match up to well to what I had.
Here are some pics of the internals, not much for controls.

It's a choke and capacitor power filter, for cleaning up the 12V DC supply to a radio in a car.

My grandfather had a old truck stereo sitting on the shelf that he listened to while woodworking. The stereo was attached to an old car battery so I wonder if he was using it to get rid of electrical interference from the belt sanders/planers and such?

So with the three wires would it be power in/out and a ground?

Yes, and yes.
