Help!

I have a small lincoln flux core welder. For some reason, it is shorting out and welding the wire right where it enters the core of the hose. It weld for a second or two, I will hear a pop and no more feed. Does anyone know of a fix for this?

check the liner . these short out it should be replaced every so often they wear.
