Curious how you get it over..good luck.

All I see is tie downs being used for rigging. Go buy some decent slings for this. While it's cool and fun to drive a bobcat I think this could have easily been done without one if rigged up right.
I think I would get a sling around each of the rear casters and then to the forks and raise straight up. An engine hoist or come along would have worked for this also. As you lift it will naturally upright. a couple of buddies to help guide or make adjustments would come in handy also.
You need to project this outside.
I hope everything is going well...
My choice of a skidsteer was not because i wanted it, i needed it. 2 days before thanksgiving, no side access, no good overhead tie down points, and jobs waiting. it was simply the good ole TVM Equation.
I understand and I didn't mean it was a poor choice. Just meant that with a few things done different and the proper rigging you could have rolled your toolbox by yourself and been back in business without having to rent a bobcat.
So it's upright now? Did you post some pics of the process or did I miss them?
There's some pics from lasT nighT I Took pics and video This morning. what I'd like to do is start a thread where everything is detailed so in the future if anyone needs any advice it might help. damage is surprisingly minimal. I think I also really under estimated the weight to my tools.
Ha, 900lbs for an empty tool box? Maybe 300lbs.
I think you made that way more difficult and expensive than it had to be. Few buddies or a jack all would have uprighted that. I think you should have just calmed down, drank a brew and called a friend. Oh well, no one was hurt and now you have a good story.
I don't see why you couldn't have just emptied it out drawer by drawer, looks like they were trying to open?
I was curious so earlier I had gone online and couldn't find the weight specification anywhere so I called matco directly. 703 pounds.
That's about what my Cornwell that size weighs. The top is about 300
