Got a call from my wifes friend her father in law passed away an they need help going through stuff at his house to clean it up so they can sell the property. Nothing fancy but I will sell the rototiller and the chipper shredder for them. It shouldn't take much to get those running as they haven't been used in over 10 years. The rest of The stuff I will eventually go Through it clean it up and sell it. It would have been a nice score if the circumstances Were different.

Last item they had a 1966 Glasspar flying V boat. Everything looks lgood it just needs a serious cleaning, tune up and trailer rebuild. Good thing it was covered in a garage for the last 15 years

What hp is the shredder?

The original Troybilt Tomahawk's came in 5hp or 8hp. Most of them came with a B&S engine. I'm betting that that one is a 5hp, but I could be wrong. Before MTD got their hands on them, those chippers were built like tanks.

The 5hp is a little anemic. We have an 8 and its pretty good.

The shreader has an 8 horse on it. The grey craftsman is missing The pull out tray. My dad wanted the saw but I'll be looking to the recall thanks.

That recall is model No. dependent; some you get the buy back, some you get a guard, new table and some other frippery.

Just Google Craftsman radial arm recall, and enter the model and S/N

The radial saw is better like this.

Not to hijack the thread but that looks pretty neat. I've always wanted a sander like that and figured someday I would make my own. I already have a RAS so just need to fab up a little piece for the wheel. Any ideas what they used for the wheels?

I can't believe all the features the thing has its pretty neat what do you guys think return it for the safety issues or let my dad have it.

Give it to your dad, tell him the details of the recall, and let him decide what he wants to do about it.

When I put the serial number and it came back as they Will sent me a box to return the unit and send me 100.00. No retrofit kit for this unit. Already filled him in on the safety recall
