A friend / coworker of mine is going thru his parents house and prepairing it for sale. His mom recently passed and his dad passed years ago, time to move and deal with the junk left behind. I listened to him talk about all the **** and having to call a scrap man to come deal with whats left. I said geeze, what ya got? Just an old tool box and some cans and ****, come and get it if ya want.

Got a Craftsman box set dated 6-71, and old chest ??? (father took of the lid and front because it was in his service truck), a NOS 5 Gal safety can, and a new TRW battery charger. It almost killed me, but, I left behind a 239 Parker that was rode hard and put away wet. Cracked and welded on both jaws and beyond repair. I really tried, sometimes ya gotta let them go.

Heres the top box, lots of grease and a little surface rust...needs a good cleaning to see where I'm at.

THX...I'm going to start with a pressure washing this weekend. I already have a new set of casters for it too. I'd like to try to save the underside of the lid, the decal is still there and in nice shape. I didn't get a set of keys, but I do have the numbers from the lock sets and "should" be able to find a set. Not sure why this box appeals to me, could be the previous owner nudging me ..?? I have no idea what I'm going to do with it!

I'll try to update for those who want to follow along. Not sure how many that is...

Anyone know what the red box is?? Fairly well built, was thinking Waterloo / Cornwell...I need to dig deeper ..
