Okay, so I would like to know if anyone knows the difference in quality between Herband/Canada and Herbrand/USA. I have been searching and can't find much about it... I have found why the company went from ohio and is now in toronto. Quality wise though, I don't see a difference. I'm running around like I wanted to know because I have pieces to sell and any information will help! Thank You.

They haven't been in Toronto for quite some time now. I've not yet been able to establish the exact date they closed shop, but I suspect it was the 1990s. You can still occasionally find NOS in stores here...

Herbrand produced in Canada for decades concurrent with USA production. They were certainly in Canada by 1947.

I have been watching for a set of older Canadian Herbrand for years at a price I'd pay, but have yet to acquire them. The later Canadian production does not appear to be anything very special.

What was the reason for leaving Ohio?
