Hi All,
Been a lurker here for some time but decided to register as it seems like a good place for information and discussion. I have been going thru some old tools my father-in-law owned before he passed away. He was pretty much a Craftsman man as I am. However, I found a few odd tools in a box I have been meaning to go thru. I found a Herbrand Van-Chrome M-5 1/4 Ratchet and was wondering if it is worth anything. Most of his tools were Craftsman and I have been cleaning or replacing damaged ones. I could probably part with this one. Seems like everytime I run into a jam and need a specific tool, one of his comes to the rescue. If there is a toolbox in heaven, it is missing a few tools. Any info or general discussion welcome and appreciated.

There were a few different versions of that one over the years, I have about three of them.

I know someone here was looking for a version, I think the middle one. Which one do you have? I think they are great ratchets, definitely keepers.

Nice grouping, BMW!

OP, post a pic of the one you've got. I've got a 1/2" and 3/8" and am on the lookout for their 1/4" sibling.
Although I'm not sure they made the style I have in 1/4".
