Hercules Battery in Chicago Tools

I have the older Chicago 1/2" 18v impact wrench with the nicad batteries. The batteries are weak and discharge just from sitting.

Has anyone tried to put the new lithium batteries from HF in the Chicago tools?

Haven't tried that myself but a quick call to HF Customer Service @ 800-423-2567 should get you an answer as to whether or not the battery will fit your impact wrench.

No, the Li ion batteries will not fit in the older drills.
