Just to go back to the wood ontop of the grade beam, that's common practice in these parts, all basements and garages are done like that.

Do you remember what it cost you to rent that little roller? I need to rebuild my yard and road after all this snow melt, that'd work great to compact it.

Haha...that there is my baby....1980 CJ-7 with a new Aqualu body and fenders. Its still in the rebuild stage at this point..(a lil farther than this pic) and I am anxiously waiting for the day I can wheel again!

Well Concrete prep has been the hardest job I have ever done in my life! Not too many friends around when you mention sand,rebar and in-floor. But I got it done and the winter pricing for cement came off last week.(Saved a grand by waiting) We are gearing up the lighting etc for a pour tomorrow....cant wait to get it done......

Filling up fast...(2 boats aren't mine) funny how many friends you get in fall when you have extra storage. Even had to kick the jeep out to the smaller shop. Insulation is stacked in the corner waiting for a summer install....then white tin. Hope to have it heated by the end of next year.
