Unfortunately, I don't have any before pics. My wife and I bought our house approximately 3.5 years ago; the garage was 'finished' but unpainted (just tape/mud). It's dimensions are 19x19. I painted it white initially, but it felt like a hospital. I decided to add a section of gray ('wolf gray') and a 3" vinyl red stripe (from vinylstriping.com; 'tomato red').

Below are a few pics of my current configuration. I plan to add cabinets, a lift (possibly a MaxJax), and another (larger) pegboard. I'm still not sure what to do with the floor (opinions are welcomed).

Currently searching for another (S2000) project; shooting for 600+ this time. Thanks for looking! This site is awesome :D

Remounted the tire rack; much better!

Makes way better sense up high and out of the way. I see you are contemplating flooring options. It's a tough call. It just comes down to what works best with the type of work you do in there. I'm into detailing and the odd wheel swap so RaceDeck works for me. If you do install a lift, I would think RD would be a good choice. But, if you are going to be doing jacking on the floor, you could do a solid RD tile or tough epoxy. When I was making my choice, I was back and forth but the DIY involved in doing an epoxy was more than I was willing to bite off. The pros wanted more than double what my RD floor ended up costing me, so my decision was basically made for me.

I appreciate the response. A RaceDeck configuration is the front runner (predicated by the lift, of course). Otherwise, I'm leaning towards epoxy.

That's the key to a garage of modest size is being very smart with the exact spot something needs to be. I've definitely learnt through trial and error, and more error and more trial haha. Keep up the good work.

Ha. Definitely! Thanks. I'm picking up a second pegboard this evening. Still trying to decide exactly how I'd like to mount it.

I decided to to center the table and mount two cabinets (instead of going with my initial idea to run a single cabinet offset).

Cabinets (from garage-organization.com):

Haven't updated the thread in a while; I've managed to make an already small space smaller! Re-purposed breakfast table and my new Diversion 180:

And a few pics of the toy (decided to pull the engine and build a stroker!):
