I thought I'd put a few pictures of my garage from start to nearly complete. Thats because I can't find the more recent photos.

It ended up being a nearly 3 year project. Six months was getting architects drawings and permitting. It was bigger than they allowed, both in footprint and in average eave height.

Its 35 feet deep and 24 feet wide. Poured concrete lower level, 10' high. 8' x 12' door. Slightly larger than 12' x 24' deck off the upstairs.

The upstairs has a bit more stuff in it now, too. Tv, stero, bar, recliners and a few tables.

I found a partial picture of the dump. The old garage, or the structure formerly known as a garage. Some of it is already gone. All that remains are 3 feet of the rear wall and foundation on the right side as seen in earlier pics.

I do get the "did you move in" comments. Some ask when I'm going to build theirs. I don't really need any more sense of accomplishment in construction. The me myself and I building days are over. I think.
