Hi guys, I've been watching the forum for a few months now and finally got my garage to the point I can actually use it. I'm a Mopar guy and have a 64 Belvedere and a 68 Coronet R/T that my son and I are restoring. It's kinda cramped since it's just a typical 2-car suburban garage, but we work with what we've got, right?

Just got the new Eaton compressor plumbed this weekend, mainly using info from this site (thanks!). I was really nervous when I turned on the compressor. I just knew every joint was going to spew air like a tornado cause I've never sweated pipe before. Actually I never knew there was such a thing till I read it on here. The joints ain't pretty but they're tight as a drum, even with 150 psi on 'em. Next step is to build an enclosure around the compressor that'll keep it out of the elements but still let it breathe.

Darrell

Welcome to the site. Good looking projects. Keep the pics coming. I'm a Ford fan, but I love those old Belvederes.

Itzkwik, I like Fords too. I had a 65 Mustang K-Code coupe a couple years ago. It was a real GT too. That's me and my son, who is now taller than me.

5, is that a Coronet or Super Bee? Maybe a RR?

Cool, I love GTX's. And convertibles. The Belvedere was originally a six that a guy stripped down to make a weekend racer out of. Ripped out the interior and put a in a '69 383/727. We're going to make it a street car again. I'm keeping the 383 but swapping in a 4-speed. I've just about got all the parts together. Took me a year to find seats.

The R/T is matching numbers and mostly complete. Only major piece missing was the carb.
