Does anyone know anything about this tachometer?

I have one like that. Same thing. It has a gearshift mechanism for various speeds.

The pointed tips are used if the shaft has a center pop in the end and the concave ones for a plain shaft. The rubber wheel is used for determining SFPM on either rotating surfaces or a bandsaw blade. Looks like you have all the paperwork and manuals.

Yes, all the paperwork appears to be there. My father kept all the paperwork for that kinda of stuff.

Been around since at least 1934, still in business now.
