Picked this up at Hershey yesterday. It was calling to me, much to my wife's disappointment. He wanted $85 for it but took $50 (probably would have taken $30...) Oh well, I love the retro look. Anyone ever use one or know anything about it? I'd love to find a manual somewhere and get it working. Have to replace the power cord before I can even try to plug it in.

I agree! Been scouring Google to see what I can find. All I can find is some other people who bought them at swap meets like me...

Awesome! Do you ever use it? Any chance I can buy a copy of the manual? What year is yours?

I bet you when it first came out it cost some big bucks and I bet you if the first owner saw the price you paid for it he would be turning in his grave...

Man I love the retro space/atom theme this has. I would be all over it and I don't even have a place for it.

Very cool find! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

but a suggestion: after getting inside my old Rockwell DP last Friday, and discovering all the wire insulation was dried out and cracking; before you fire it up take off the service panels and make sure you don't have the same issue. I've seen it go both ways, depending on what they used for insulation...

You're right on the wiring. Just the plug cord itself is completely cracked through. I plan on redoing the wiring all the way through before I even attempt to give power to it

Very cool.

And I bet you can make money with it doing dental x-rays for your friends and neighbors!

The main deal IMO is to check the insulation for how hard/brittle it is. I think the problem is more prevalent on cords as they often got made of rubber for flexibility, other wire may have been insulated with some type of plastic, and more durable from that perspective.

Nice retro score. I was at the AACA Hershey event too. Lots of good deals but didn't see anything I couldn't live without. Except that better condition side marker light for my '69 GTO. ;)
