What are some good Hex Bolstered Screwdriver Sets out there? Are they really worth owning? I found '7' individual hex bolstered screwdrivers, priced $5 each at my local Lowes, Made in USA by the way. What do you think?

I have Snap On, Mac, and Williams. Proto, Wera and others also make them. I have a few of the Kobalt ones because of the end cap and have no complaints about them at all. For the price I think they're a decent buy.

Would have been nice to stick a 1/4" ratchet at the end though, I think Wera has that feature, but it would lack the end cap feature as a result

Thank you Oliver, they seem to be very much in line with the 7-piece Kobalts I purchased today. Are all Wera drivers made in Czech Republic?

Felo 551s are hex bolstered, made in germany. Some, not all, Proto Duratreks are hex bolstered too, made in the USA.

Snap on are always fantastic. Great deals on eBay too.

The hex bolster is a nice feature and my Williams drivers have them but I've yet to actually use the hex bolster. If I need that much torque on a screw, I get out my bit sockets and a ratchet.

The following brands have screwdriver lines with hex bolsters, some with striking caps. I'm working on making a complete list, so if someone has a brand to add please chime in. Some brands are mentioned more than others, this is just a list in no order.

PB Swiss
Witte
Wera
Wiha
Facom
Felo
Gedore
Hazet
KS Tools
Vessel
Williams
Snap-On
Elora
Steelman Pro
Proto
MAC
Gearwrench

I use my Wera 900's for dirty use, and PB Swiss drivers for everything else although they're more than capable. Many brands on this list are highly spoken of, some hardly mentioned due to the difficulty of buying them.
