Hex Joint Pinless Swivel Impact Adapter

Seems like there is a new pinless swivel design out on the market. I'm not sure if anybody else have seen this, as I don't see any other major manufacturers/retailers share the same design.

The swivel part snaps further into the socket and becomes a fixed extension, much like Snap-on's Wobble Plus feature. It pretty much works exactly the same way a ball hex Allen key inserted into a socket, held together by a spring circlip.

Let's see how well it fares against the Matco pinless and Snap-on's laser welded pins.

Interesting design, but i think it defeats the purpose of an impact swivel. Seems most of the time I'm using something swivel, I'm jamming it on the bolt in some terrible spot and if the swivel telescoped back in and locked up, I'd throw the thing in the weeds. Just my $0.02.

^I would say the Matco/Armstrong/Craftsman is much more CV style
