Been a welder, machinist, gun builder most my life. Just found this forum and thought I'd pick at your brains. I got a Hein Werner WS 1-1/2 ton jack and it doesn't work. Trying to find a schematic of it and see if I'm missing anything. The sites I found on the internet were all in pdf file and I'm not set up for that nor am I computer savvy period. Does anyone have a schematic or know where I could find one? Any and all answers welcome. Will pay....

There are some really knowledgeable people on here, and some good threads on it. There should be help soon, but if not you can search for that brand in the search engine on site.

I have one of those, and I think on my thread (link below) I have a link in it describing how to repair them.

A member named Hiball is the one that can get you info, and parts on this site.

There is a member on here with the screen name of Hi-Ball. He is unquestionably the jack of all jacks. Also if you go to Adobe.com, you can download a free PDF reader. It should be just a couple clicks to install it and then you can open any PDF files that you need. HTH

1. Post this in the Tools section, you will get a response.

2. I've a H-W WS (I think it is a WS) and if you google it, you will get a hit to a site that has the "owner's manual" such as it is. Has a parts breakdown. You need to get up to speed on a PDF. If you PM me I can arrange to print and mail you the manual such as it is...

You say it doesn't work, have you checked the oil level? Screw on the back (not top!) of the unit, fill until level is at the screw hole level.

Thanks fellas! I went over to my sister in laws house and down loaded it on her computer. Mine wouldn't even allow me to down load adobe for a pdf file.
