I'm thrilled to have lucked up on a site where people bounce ideas around about how to make their pet project dreams come to life and also have a chance to learn from the experience of others.

While browsing for ideas on how to best convert an existing pole structure into a combination garage/living quarters/rv storage building I found a thread (with pix.. yay) by Hound Dog. He described his project from the concept stage through building and it's very much like what I'm thinking of doing. i especially liked his idea of wanting his place to have a cabin feel.

If anybody else is planning a project like this please let me know.
