Hey everyone! What a neat forum, with lots of other folks who love their tools. My wife claims that I'm a tool collector, not a tool user....Ha!....little does she know!......
Anyway, I'm 58, retired from career #1, and working 3 days a week at job #2.
Job#2 allows me the privilege of traveling in a 300 to 400 mile radius of home, and I'm sort of my own boss, setting my own hours, and schedule. See where this is headed? Yup, I keep my eye open for flea markets, pawn shops, surplus stores, and craigslist ads, looking for good deals on tools.
I love to woodwork, garden, and achieve the satisfaction that comes from doing my own home, car, tractor, etc repairs.
After retiring from career #1, I built our retirement home, and a 30 x 40 shop, where I keep my tool collection.....dang it.... Maybe she's right...lol.
Okay, Nuff about me. Thanks for letting me join the forum with you fellows. I'm looking forward to having many discussions about tools....er....garages.
