Thanks for the welcome guys.V8Garage Crystal River is roughly 1 1/2 hrs.What you building in that V8 Garage?Right now I am working out of my dada's bard.At least it's enclosed on a slab.Divorce happens.

Right now the main focus in the V/8 garage is to finish my '53 F-100 which my dad bought new. It will be a driver with 302 C-4, 9-inch, lowered I-beam suspension etc. After that there are several projects lined up. Wife's 53 Chevy P.U., get my '50 DeSoto back on the road etc. etc. All these projects are going to have to wait until next winter as I am about to go back on the road. First to Michigan and then in June I will be in your neck of the woods. Got to go back to Ocala to Don Garlits museum, love that place!

V8 it looks like you have some really nice projects.I have a friend that built a 53 Ford.It's got all Chevy drivetrain .He drives it up to N.C.all the time.It's his daily driver.I have another buddy building a 50 chevy pu.He has boxed the frame added a Heigts front end and has found bodo cover the rusty belt line at the back of the cab.his son is building a 48 F1.I am building a Tbucket.I am going to the Billet Proof show at Garlits March 21.The museum is kick ***.Hopefully the weather will be nice for ya.
hypnotoad were is North Port?I only live about 8 miles from the track.I actually quit going to the Gatornationals.I just got tired of fighting the crowds.It is a great track.My dad was the track electrician for 30+ yrs.There is going to be a car show off of NW 39th ave close to I-75 on the Gator's Saturday night if you guys are interested.

Neal, I'm about 80 miles south of Tampa. I understand the crowd at the Gators. I usually go on Friday. I get to see all the cars run that way.
