Hey all, stumbled upon this site while planning my new garage and looking for ideas on running water to it. Currently my garage is about half way done, I'm building a 30x40 detached garage with 12'6" ceilings. I've got 2 10'x10' garage doors on the front and an 8'x7' door on the side to get the mower in and out. I installed in floor heat, floor drains, ran water with a frost free hydrant and purchased a 10,000lb rotary hoist. I'm in the process of wiring the garage now.

Turbo: we want pictures of all that cool stuff you just described so post a few if you can here and then maybe start a build thread in the garage gallery section. isn't the weather a bit on the cool side in Minnesota this time of year?

Welcome. I live north of Duluth just over the border in Canada. I bought a boat in forest lake last year. I'm in the process of building a 32x40 right now. But I'm mostly spending time doing snow removal rather then carpentry these days.
