I Hav a ? about a # 3 Stanley Level i came across, Has no Pat dates on it , 24'' x 2''3/4''x 1''1/4''Cherry Wood brass end caps brass site plates. Any Info would be appreciated, Thanks Steve

I just happen to have one of those too. I don’t know their history…I just bought it at an estate sale because it looks cool and still works. Lots of time with those old levels, the liquid is gone.
