What Is It???

Heavy black plastic body about the length of a standard size #2 phillips driver (forgot to measure it when I was out in the shop....and I'm in for the night and ain't going back out to measure it....)
GWD1.jpg GWD2.jpg

One end has a metal cap, much like the striking surface of a pry bar or chisel....
GWD3.jpg

The other end has a coarse stone on it, much like a grinding stone....
GWD4.jpg GWD5.jpg

My guess is the obvious grinding wheel dresser.....but I'm curious as to why it weighs as much as it does (would make a nice blackjack) and also why it has a striking end???

:dunno:

What say ye?......

p.s. - No, I haven't tried to pull the stone out of the end .....yet :bounce:

I think you're on the right track, but I can offer no explanation for the "striking" end!

The end cap might be a dull diamond dresser.
Typically the diamond is just in the center and the tool is rotated during use to prevent premature wear on the diamond.
