Hey snap on...why no socket?

During my tool truck visit today I discoverd something I found odd. Snap On does not make a Chrome 1/2" drive 11mm 6-point DEEP socket. They make the 12 point one only.

Here are my thoughts: hex nut is really uncommon in 11mm? Even if this were true I would seem to think that Snap On would still make it since they make the 10mm and 12mm. If nothing else this would complete the set and not skip one...and they cox ld sell more tools that way too...

I'm pretty sure I have the 11mm 6 point also, and I bought it for one certain job on a european car if I remember right.

Sorry should have clarified better. They don't make the DEEP one.

They do make it in a deep impact socket.

This just makes it even more weird that they make it in shallow chrome and deep impact, but no deep chrome.

The part number, if it existed, would be TSM11A...I think. Chrome, deep, 1/2" dr., 6-point.

Dang, you're really gonna make me go look at the new socket set I just bought aren't you? I'm pretty sure it had the deep 11mm 6 point in it. Gimme a sec, i'm goin to look.

I don't know why anyone makes 1/2 drive sockets below 13 mm deep or shallow
It is odd though since they make a 1/2 drive deep 7/16

No, my set actually does not have the deep 11mm, only the shallow. WTF, weird, but I still love em.

Nope, never have needed it. I needed a 1/2 drive 11mm once, on a vw or audi or something like that. Used it once and that's it.

Crapsman also skips 11mm too. Also 23 26 28 29mm.
