Well been meaning to post for a while but never got around to it. Wanted to make a good first impression, and I must say all of you are a bad influence.
My name is Matt, I'm 29 and work for a company doing automotive electronics. I outgrew my tool box and started looking online for a new one that I could put everything in and that wouldn't break the bank. That's how I came to this website and found awesome articles on tool boxes, then tools, then my favorite "Thread of WTF". I was hooked and couldn't wait to save up for the tool box I wanted.
Well I then started looking at threads of everyone building these amazing garages and was completely awe struck by the knowledge some of you have. I said to myself a toolbox simply won't do anymore. On April 29th I closed on my very first home. It was almost a year in the making from looking at houses and not knowing the difference between a stick build or modular. It has been a long road of learning and I am very great full for the knowledge that I have gathered from this site.
So now I have a nice little ranch style house that I can call my own, with a little barn in the backyard (that has a beer fridge
) and a shed that is damn near rotted out. So thank you all, lets crack a beer, tell some dirty jokes and prepare to answer some dumb *** questions, because I have a lot.
