Hey Garage Journal! This place is absolutely fantastic. I've been reading some of the build threads the last few weeks and I'm officially addicted to this website. Thanks to everyone who has shared their build stories!
I had done some decorating in my last garage, which was a basic 2 car. I painted a red stripe through it and hung some posters. Then last year I started to get more into organizing. I started purchasing the gladiator wall tracks and cabinets to get things off the floor. Great plan right up until it was time to move.
The good news is that we are having a house built so that I can get an expanded garage this time around. The new house will have a 32 x 22 three car garage with some custom additions. I've added extra outlets, extra lights, 11 foot ceilings, high rise doors, front mounted openers, utility sink, and 6" concrete in the 3rd bay for the 4 post lift. I am very excited about it but the wait is brutal. Once we get farther along I'll get a build thread started.
Anywho, very excited to be here and see all the awesome garages from around the world. The passion of all the forum members really shows

Here is a picture of the previous garage. This was from 2009 after I had painted the stripe on the wall. The stripe took forever! It was a slow process to tape it off and then I think it was 4 or 5 coats of paint. I really like how it turned out though, so I plan to do it again.
