Two problems I see here... one, is that its way to short to get any sort of leverage, youll probably have to resort to using your foot on the end to get the stuck lugs off. The problem with that is the "hub cap remover" end, which will put a nice gash down your leg... so now, not only do you have a flat standing on the side of a highway at night with your rentex tuxedo on in the rain, but your bleeding uncontrollably too now

That's pretty much the standard length for BMW lug wrenches. I've used them multiple times on the side of the road without too much problem.

As far as the point goes, yea, I guess you might have an issue if you're not careful. If you angle the wrench upward there will be less of a chance of your foot slipping off the wrench.

Fifty bucks for a lug wrench with only two sizes ? I think I'll stick with my 4-bar that stores under my tire and use the money for something else.

Yeah, a bit high for what you get. :wtf:

I have seen 4-bar wheel wrenches where two of the arms fold in on the main shaft for tool box storage purposes. When you need to extend them back into their original position they are held in place by a sliding collar. I think it is 18" in total length. Dunno why I never bought one because to me anyway, it is a good idea.

I use the "Gorrila wrench" and think it is the sh_t. I buy them locally at Murrays A.P. and they work great as a 1/2" breaker bar also.

$50 No thanks. That really is a bit pricey for what it is. I just carry a breaker bar (HF special) and an impact socket. Can't beat the extra leverage if offers over a standard size wrench for when the guy doing the NYS inspection tightens the lug nuts to 600 ft lbs.
