HF 1/2" Torque Wrench

I've seen a bunch of threads about how to calibrate a torque wrench, but I've seen nothing about how to actually adjust it based on your findings.

In the case of the HF models are they adjustable, do you just have to make a chart, or just calculate the % off set and set the dial accordingly?

The most you should do at home is verify calibration if you have the ability to do so, actual calibration should be done by a professional but in the case of the HF torque wrenches its cheaper to just go get another. You should not try to compensate for a torque wrench that is out of calibration.

I agree with you, but I'm still curious about how it's done. It is some sort of set screw, spring adjustment, etc...
