I went to Harbor Freight yesterday before seeing this post and could have sworn the 44" looked deeper. The one in my store also had a new badge. The same as the new carts. I didn't measure it though but wil large next time I go.

Rather than buying a side cabinet not made in USA or Canada, I made my own side cabinet. I also made another side cabinet to hold my long pry bars and one inch breaker-bar. The shelves in the smaller cabinet are for punches and chisels.

That really good result and great use of the door .
Proper 'made in canada' too ...

Anyone happen to get one of these yet got a measurement for the drawer width? Keep forgetting to measure it. Only one store near me has one and I was just there today.

New end cabinets are 14.5" wide now. With about an inch on each side for the cabinet, this makes the drawer about 12.5" wide. Useless in my opinion. I'm keeping my wider old sides and just going to hang them on the new 44" bottom.

Stopped by HF just yesterday and noticed this while measuring the drawers themselves. Kind of made it pointless to deepen the drawers since they cut so much of the width out of them.

I'm in the same boat as you...I'll just keep my two existing units.

I'd like to see photos of that when you get to it.
