I have had one for about 4 years now. It has been fine, but the valve is "sticky". You have to grip the handle tightly and turn very slowly to let it down or it will drop your car. For the money, its not bad, but I only use it about once a month.

I picked up the same HF 3 ton Low Pro the other day but I haven't used it yet. I had to replace my Northern Tool cheapo 2 ton that I have used for 14 years. If I get 14 out of this one for $49.99 I will consider it a good deal.

I had to return the first one I purchased because it leaked oil. It had actually leaked into the box, but I didn't notice that until I reboxed it for return. The second one has been used 3 or 4 times without leaking. I concur with hammergodthor, that care must be taken turning the handle when lowering to prevent a fast drop. Knowing this, I have learned to finesse the handle.

I've been wanting to pull the trigger on this for a few weeks now. I have a truck that has outgrown my jack and I don't really want to drop another couple hundred minimum for tire rotations. Doesn't look like any major issues with it, especially for about $50.

Its not very low profile. Havent had a problem with that aspect of it, but would mention it.
Havent had any problems with it actually. I let it sit out side snow, rain, its got grit on it from sandblasting 12" away from it, overspray. Works good. Like he said the release isnt very smooth.

Get the orange low profile HF one. I'm on my phone, so I'm not gonna look it up, but I have one and it's been great. Fits under my Porsches with no problem. Weighs about 100 lbs.

I think I have a coupon for that somewhere. I thought I remember seeing somewhere that it had some issues. I don't remember what though, so maybe I'm mistaken. I might have to go pick that one up instead.

If that 2 Ton Low Profile Jack went on sale for $60 I'd probably consider it. I'd prefer a 3-Ton Jack though for lifting larger vehicles.

I have the regular orange 3 ton,would NOT recommend.Already brought it back,it would lower itself.
The second one does the same thing.I just kept it,got tired of returning it.

I have the jack in question works good for me i thought it was me on releasing it guess its a trait of the jack my brother in law has the orange one his works fine also no complaints from either of us.

This one is different than my HF 2 ton. The two ton is smooth smooth but it feels like it has an air bubble in it.

another +1 on the orange 2 ton jack. I have one and it actually seems to be built and designed extremely well. It can fit under very low vehicles yet it can still lift them quite high.
