I know a lot of GJ guys hate HF. I know a lot of what they sale is junk
or worst.
I'm needing a framing nailer, I have 3 smaller finish nailers and staplers
but need to do some longer nails for framing.
I'm just a light duty hobbyist so there's no need for a heavy duty pro grade
nailer.
Has anybody got and direct experience with the 3in1 framing nailer that HF
sales?
The current price is $110 which is a lot cheaper than the cheapest framing
nailer Lowes sales which is about $199.

Thanks for any help and advice you can give.

I had the previous generation one. It was ok, I guess. I had to oil it a lot to keep it from jamming. Had to drip oil directly on the hammer from the front occasionally too.

A used Porter Cable on CL is less money and is probably a better choice.

I'll second that, I just go to craigslist or pawnshops. Good deals to be had.

I purchased a framing nailer from them about 3 4 years ago the 28 degree and dont have any complaints. I have built a large shed and some other smaller projects and have to say it was money well spent.

I have the one linked below, works just fine. If it has given me issues I don't remember it. Last thing I used it on was a chicken coop a few weeks ago. Nothing amazing it just works like it should. If for some reason it stops working I don't see any need to spend more money on something else....I think I have had it a year or so.

I have the current 3 in 1 and the last gen 28* both are very good. their nails are junk, ever since getting better nails I have no jams. They don't like the last few nails on the clip but neither does my friend's dewalt or senco.
